- Expectations about the work placement should be clearly articulated
- Employers, students and academic staff must understand their respective roles and responsibilities;
- The work placement needs to benefit everyone involved: the student, the employer and the university;.
- There should be opportunities for reflection on the experience and what this means for your career development pre, during and post placement.
