CDL and WIL Theory
There are many and varied approaches to career development learning and work-integrated learning. For convenience, we have summarised and presented some of the core features in the attached document Definitions of CDL and WIL. These brief definitions are used for the initial research and consultation process.
Researchers, practitioners, or educators interested in career development learning in Australia are advised to consult the Australian Blueprint for Career Development. The Blueprint is a comprehensive matrix of competencies considered important for lifelong and lifewide career development. The Blueprint may be useful for research into career competencies, preparing educational interventions, or career development interventions.
