NAGCAS Membership

Membership in NAGCAS meets the requirements of the Professional Standards for Australian Careers Practitioners through:

·   Recognition of Professional Careers Advisor status

·   Provision of Continuing Professional Development

·   Development and recognition of best practice frameworks for career development education

Application for membership is open to individuals, institutions in the post-secondary education sector and organisations.

Individual membership structure offers support for all practitioners from student to professional, as well as for academic and associate members.

Institutional membership ensures institutional entry into the national and international conversation on career development education, promotion of key careers activities, and connection to a national database of graduate employers and careers bodies.  Each Institution is entitled to apply for one NAGCAS member to act as their representative.

Organisational membership provides organisations with the opportunity to contribute by way of nominating one NAGCAS member to act as their representative to sit on the Stakeholder Advisory Board.  For more information please see Structure and Governance.

As a NAGCAS member, you will also receive our regular Member Update, direct to your email, with the latest news, events, and resources.

NAGCAS holds a seat on the Board of Graduate Careers Australia and the Careers Industry Council of Australia.
