To and from Sydney Domestic and International Airports

There is a direct train service from beneath both airports to Central Station (Conference site at UTS is opposite Central Station and the Mercure Hotel is next to Central Station, both are located on Broadway). To travel on these trains you will need to purchase an Opal Card, see below for details. The train takes approximately 10 minutes to get from the airports to Central Station and the cost is under $20 per trip.

Public Transport

All public transport in Sydney (trains, buses and ferries) is via a special transport card called an Opal Card. If you intend travelling by public transport then you will need to purchase an Opal Card. Details about Opal Cards for visitors can be found here.

Taxis

Taxis can be located at the airport, outside hotels, at designated taxi stands or simply hailed down on the street.  Fares are displayed on meters.

Walking

The venue is within easy walking distance of Central Station, major bus routes (Broadway) and numerous eateries.  The recommended accommodation options are all within walking distance of the venue.

By private car parking

Parking is very limited and very expensive.  Parking stations can be found in the immediate area, but fill up early in the day and some maybe a lengthy walk from the venue.
